I think my experience with being a vegetarian was challenging but worth it. I think the challenge in it self was a wonderful experience in its self and I am glad we did what we did. I had a play going on at the same time that are challenge was going on,so it was really tough finding thinks that where fast and easy for me to eat on those days. but it all worked out for the best and we helped some animals

The whole week has been very hard for me. I have been faced with many challenges such as Chick-fil-a. I kept my cool though, I ate veggie burgers instead of chicken and that is hard to cope with. Peanut butter and jelly was my savior because I couldn't have a ham sandwich. Instead of eating the chicken from Chick-fil-a I just ate the fries, which are always good. I think that what we could make a big impact if we got more people to go vegetarian. The more people that don’t eat meat the less the demand for it and then the farms wouldn’t have to abuse so many animals. It doesn’t even have to be everyday it could just be once or twice a week that you go without meat. Animals have feelings and don’t like to be treated the way we treat them sometimes, they don’t have a voice so we should speak for them by going vegetarian.

This week has been very long and miserable. I started this “vegetarian” thing on May 23, 2011. It was almost unbearable to smell the succulent steak sizzling in the frying pan. My mouth was watering so much. I almost gave up on myself, but I decided not to. I decided to eat a salad just thinking of the steak. I looked very delicious. The next day I ate cereal instead of bacon. For lunch I ate some oodles of noodles. I didn’t eat anything for dinner but an apple. That is pretty much all I did for the whole entire week.

This week our groups has been doing a five day vegetarian challenge. We started May 23 and we are ending tomorrow May 28. My journey has been very awesome. I really enjoyed going vegetarian for a week. I enjoyed it so much that I might start doing it one week a month. Even though I had some really hard times when I wanted some meat such as hamburgers and chicken. I could have ate meat such as that but I decided to use my imagination and make a delicious vegetarian meal. I feel that this journey I believe has helped animals. If more people will do this with us just think of how many animals we could have saved. I hope that everyone who reads this decides to try going vegetarian for a while and see how they feel. I think that people would enjoy this new experience just like I did.

So, for our animal abuse project we went vegetarian for a week. The first two days were kind of tough because it's hard to get used to in the beginning. Then, along the way it got easier and easier for me. We are hoping that this will encourage people to do what we did. In fact, some of the people in our group have decided that they just might keep doing it. One of those people are me! My plan is at first to do every other week, going vegetarian to see if I can do that. So, I encourage you to do what we did. It can be a very fun and interesting experiment if you want it to be. Really, it is not all the hard.

The vegetarian week was definitely a challenge. There we nights when i wanted to eat me a big steak and call it a night, but i didn't. When my group first thought of the vegetarian idea, i kinda thought it was a total waste of time, because billions of other people were still out there eating meat. But then i thought about it and realized that being a vegetarian can change a lot. When people eat meat, they're eating thousands of animals that has been killed. But i definitely think that the vegetarian idea was a good way to help animals. It was for a good use .
